Academy Coaches
We like to encourage our young adults (13+) to continue their gymnastics journey through becoming involved with coaching. This can be done alongside them still attending our classes or when they have chosen to stop training but would still like to be involved with our sport.
We pay for those selected to complete the Gymnastics Helpers Award (£80) and supply an Academy T shirt for you to wear whilst helping.
We have an Academy of Young Adults who help at sessions throughout the week and on Saturdays.
Many of these young people have continued to complete the British Gymnastics Level One Coaching Qualification and are now working for us in our Recreational programme.
Depending on age and experience we would like all our volunteers to attend a Gymnastics Helpers Award prior to starting with us but we will talk through the options with everyone on an individual basis.
Please see link below from the British Gymnastics website for more information and a short video.
